Hello, my name is Joel Kanitz. I’m in a band called This Century. I’ve been playing music for almost 10 years. When I was 14 years old, I had already set my heart on being in a band, traveling the world and playing music for as many people as possible. My reason wasn’t for money or fame. I simply wanted to impact people in the same positive way that I had been impacted by my favorite artists.

Almost 10 years later, I’m living my dream. I’m blessed enough to be touring internationally and playing music for people who believe in me. I want to do this for as long as I physically can, but I need your help to keep it alive!

So I had this crazy idea, but I think it might just work:

I want to promote my band that I’m so incredibly passionate about, but that can get pretty exhausting and difficult when you’re not on a record label and promoting all on your own. This is when I thought of all of you amazing fans, otherwise known as the “TC Family”. You guys have been the force that keeps us going and we wouldn’t be where we are today without you. All we want to do is continue to share our music with the world and put smiles on peoples’ faces, and we want to be able to do that for a very long time. Anyway, here’s my idea…my goal is pretty ambitious but I know it can be done:

I WANT TO GET THIS TO 10,000 REBLOGS. We have a new single called “Bleach Blonde” out and I believe it needs to be shared with the world. All you have to do is reblog and ask your friends to reblog. Tweet it, Facebook it, write it in the sky with an airplane…you get the point. If we reach 10,000 reblogs, I’m promising that we’ll post a cover song and put it up for FREE download. Who knows, I might even post something I’ve worked on outside of This Century…!

Top 10 Band Dudes I Love
 You guys know how much I love bands, and one of the reasons why I love them aside from the music they make is the existence of lovable dudes. All the dudes in the bands I love are seriously attractive, but here’s a list of the top 10 band dudes I love a.k.a. The reason why I can settle with singlehood for years.

  1. John O’Callaghan (The Maine) - My recent posts on Tumblr should explain why he’s on top of my list. The sexy voice, talent, eyes, height, personality, his love for his mom. Certainly the best band dude out there. I wish to marry him someday.
  2. Alex Gaskarth(All Time Low) - He used to be on the #1 spot but John O suddenly popped out of nowhere. Anyway, this dude’s voice and funny personality’s what made him catch my heart.
  3. Stephen Gomez (The Summer Set) - He h8s lyfe. ‘nuff said.
  4. Jordan Eckes (We Are The In Crowd) - Aside from his voice being perfectly complementary to Tay Jardine’s, the way we hugged each other during their stay here in Manila is just too unforgettable. :”>
  5. Taylor York (Paramore) - This guy’s too adorable to not be loved. Anybody want a corn dog?
  6. Cameron Hurley(We Are The In Crowd) - Have you seen this guy play live? I did, and I can say that he’s one of the sexiest dudes I’ve seen while playing the guitar. And OMG, those red cheeks!
  7. Jordan Witzigreuter (The Ready Set) - I love this guy’s eyes!!! And he’s awesome live too.
  8. Joel Kanitz (This Century) - This Century’s songs make me blush because of this guy’s voice. I don’t know, there’s something in his voice that’s so attractive. Also, he can impersonate John O. Plus points right there.
  9. Jeremy Davis (Paramore) - I seldom get attracted to guys with beards but the last two on my list are an exemption. Have you seen Jeremy Davis play the bass guitar? One of the sexiest I’ve seen.
  10. Garrett Nickelsen (The Maine) - Another sexy bearded bassist. Damn, bassists are hot.

Actually, the original list consists of 15 guys, but photo sets on Tumblr don’t allow 15 photos. Anyhow, here are the other guys included in my list: Mike Ambrose (Set Your Goals), Andrew Richards (Hellogoodbye), Jack Barakat (All Time Low), Nick Santino (A Rocket To The Moon), and Eric Halvorsen (A Rocket To The Moon).
